My name is Maks Rychlicki, and I am a graphic design major and photography minor at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Born and raised in New York City, I’ve been shaped by its visual culture and streets saturated with marketing, which have strongly influenced my approach and passion for design. 

My approach to design is driven by curiosity, problem-solving, and attention to how things read and feel. I believe design should communicate clearly while allowing the character of whatever I’m designing to come through naturally. I want to create work where visuals, materials, and systems feel cohesive and intentional rather than forced. Trial and error is central to how I work, and allows my idea to fully develop.
